As part of the larger Baneasa development, these mid-rise apartment buildings create a densification of the zoning between the h+single housing area and the commercial and town center zones.  Both zones are designed to present the buildings as a family that shares a language but each having its own particular form and articulation.  This relationship between the individual apartment and building and the composition of them together creates a dynamic proposal.

The design works from both the inside out and the overall to the individual scales.  It starts with the layout of each apartment and the location and orientation of each of the buildings.  Then how these apartments come together in a building and how the buildings relate to one another.  It comes together as each of these layers react to each other, creating a residential ensemble that responds to individual needs and global parameters.
