Opening a space to create flow, mixing, and views were the primary focus of this renovation.  A luxury apartment overlooking Central Park, this project allowed us to push materials and design to not only facilitate the needs of the client, but to fully transform the space into an expression of a desire.  The palette of rich wood and color combined with simple forms provided the right balance between opening the space and filling it with life. 

Within the openness of the overall design there were moments of richness where design took on a more maximal flavor creating a counterpoint and focus to minimalist major spaces. The composition took on different notes where needed expressing the richness and diversity of the client’s desires.
