Felt The Light uses material and color to completely change how a space feels.  The felt cover softens and washes its surroundings in color.  This creates a different atmosphere whose intensity can be adjusted by simply tilting the shade.  Each lamp is unique, with its own color scheme and shade form.

Felt The Light is a collaboration with Alicia Escamilla that emerged from a larger investigation into possible spatial features of felt.  During our studies we found how soft not only materially, but also formally felt could be. This inherent softness became apparent in its interaction with light, as it elegantly transformed bright white light into gentle, colored hues.  The felt allowed us to manipulate light, feeling, and form all at once, creating a beautiful lamp that continues to evolve and change with each iteration.
