Your call was a collaborative installation based on the old kids game “Telephone”. It was done in collaboration with a group of 10 architects and designers across the world, each working independently on the design and fabrication of the project.. A sixteenth century painting was given to the first series of designers which they transformed into 3D drawing that was then passed from hand to hand through another set of designers, an agitator, an optimizer, and then this process was repeated. Finally the design was handed off to another team for fabrication. 

This leveraged a new type of working methodology that had come about during the pandemic, but avoided the trappings of a big zoom call. Instead this game of “Digital Telephone” allowed each designer the liberty to create on their own while participating in a larger design project and collaboration. The final piece was fabricated at the Adams Art Gallery in Dunkirk New York and was exhibited for a month on the front lawn.
